menswear inspired outfit, Urban Outfitters lust and NYU spirit

menswear inspired outfit. i wore a silk striped men's shirt that i thrifted at goodwill, with the sleeves rolled up. belt is from no. 6 vintage, sample sale. i wore acid wash denim shorts from american apparel underneath, they're hidden though :). tights and flats are from urban outfitters. detail:

this is the front of the tights. they're actually Chanel imitation and are basically like this:

( except the front is lace, not sheer) with an opaque back that i found pretty cute. you cant see clearly in the picture though, sadly.

i've been pretty enamoured with urban outfitters lately, but then again i always have been. especially this Kimchi and Blue dress:

and i have just those tights with the back seam to go with it too!

and here's a photo of me looking stupid in what i like to call my "nyu school spirit" outfit! the picture is blurry but my tee actually says "nyu" in the signature violet of my lovely school. skirt and leggings from american apparel, shoes from primark. oh well, i can't help being a high-street school spirit commoner sometimes!
